Ghana has taken a prominent seat at the table of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, as a new management team assumes office for the 2026–2030 term. Leading the Commission is General Birame Diop of Senegal, who officially took over the helm at the headquarters in Abuja.
